DRAGON HILL

An early project in the firm’s history, Dragon Hill was completed in the late 1980s and is a successful example of conservation development. Over fifty percent of a scenic 90-acre site was preserved through the careful location of 33 duplex homes. Dodson & Flinker developed a masterplan for the property, coordinated engineering and architectural consultants and successfully took the proposal through the local and state planning, traffic and wetlands permitting processes. The project features a 20-acre preserved meadow, 30 acres of preserved woodland, community leach field, condominium ownership of the land with individually owned duplex units. Traditional design of the site and buildings blends the project in with its rural surroundings.
