Dodson & Flinker recently hosted the second workshop in a series of workshops with the Town of East Hampton, New York, as part of its Coastal Assessment and Resiliency Plan (CARP). The workshop was conducted through Zoom due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. D&F is collaborating with coastal engineers GZA Geoenvironmental, Inc. and Coastal Ocean Analytics to provide site-specific visualizations of potential shoreline change and flooding from sea level rise, and resilience strategies. The Town of East Hampton is the easternmost on Long Island, occupying a narrow stretch between Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.
