Dodson & Flinker helped the Treehouse Foundation, a non-profit organization, plan for a new community that combines housing for foster families with homes for senior citizens. This unique concept for an intergenerational community led to a plan based on the historic towns and villages of the region, with tree-lined streets, traditional homes with porches, and a central meadow that will be a focal point for community life.
Dodson & Flinker assisted the developer with obtaining a Comprehensive Permit for the Plan from the Zoning Board of Appeals, including protection of the central meadow and views of Mount Tom, which was well received by the Town. Working drawings and construction administration were also completed by Dodson & Flinker for the project.
