Prior to joining Dodson & Flinker, Dana worked as Town Planner for the Town of Essex, a Staff Planner for the City of Salem, and a Landscape Site Designer. She holds a BA in Anthropology from Mount Holyoke College and an MLA in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University.
Dana has worked on a variety of planning and landscape design initiatives, including grant-funded local economic recovery projects, local inclusionary and affordable housing initiatives, and parks and trails planning & design, as well as staffing and supporting Planning and Zoning Boards. Her background in municipal planning and landscape architecture informs a holistic, integrated approach that connects community-wide goals with site-specific needs to develop actionable plans. She is passionate about strengthening communities through improved access to their natural, cultural, and economic resources.
