MOUNT GREYLOCK SUMMIT RESTORATION

In commemoration of the one hundredth anniversary of the founding of the Massachusetts State Park system, Dodson & Flinker, Ltd. developed design plans, working drawings and specifications for the restoration of the summit of Mount Greylock, Massachusetts’ highest peak. Plans included restoration of the sub-alpine summit environment, restoration of the historic landscape surrounding Bascom Lodge, redesign of the path and circulation system, signage and handicapped accessibility. Dodson & Flinker worked in conjunction with Krent/Paffett Associates, Inc. on the development of an interpretive and exhibits program for the summit.
